After graduating as an Architect in the UK, Allan Murray received scholarships to study in the USA from the Scottish International Education Trust and the British Schools and Universities. He studied at Harvard University, receiving his Masters of Architecture degree in 1986. Allan also worked for three years with on large scale public buildings in Boston and New York City with the internationally renowned practice of Moshe Safdie & Associates and received national registration as an architect in the USA before returning to the UK in 1989.
Allan then spent two years teaching architecture at Edinburgh University and Dundee University before establishing the practice in 1992.
Allan Murray established the current practice in 1993. The aim of Allan Murray Architects has always been to make architecture of the highest design standards and to provide our clients with innovative and practical solutions to projects. Allan Murray is very much involved in each and every design project in the office and provides the underlying philosophy of the practice.

Conor has been a qualified architect for almost 20 years and worked with RMJM for over 12 years before joining AMA. He has experience of a wide variety of award winning projects in both the public and private sectors,and leading multi-disciplinary teams, with a particular specialism in complex projects.
Conor also has extensive and detailed expertise working as an architect working on buildings situated within sensitive environments and conservation areas. At AMA, Conor is involved with the New Waverely Masterplan proposals, and the individual hotel buildings that are currently being developed.
