After graduating in architecture from The University of Dundee, Allan Murray received scholarships to study at Harvard University in the USA from the Scottish International Education Trust and the British Schools and Universities. He received his Masters of Architecture degree from Harvard University in 1986. Allan also worked for three years with on large scale public buildings in Boston and New York City with the internationally renowned practice of Moshe Safdie & Associates and received national registration as an architect in the USA before returning to the UK in 1989. Allan established the architectural practice in 1992. Allan has particular interest and specialism in urban theory, masterplanning and city design. Allan Murray provides the design philosophy of the practice and is very much involved in each and every design project in the office.
Allan has taught at Edinburgh and Dundee Universities and has been External Examiner at Glasgow University. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland.

Conor has been a qualified architect for almost 20 years and worked with RMJM for over 12 years before joining AMA. He has experience of a wide variety of award winning projects in both the public and private sectors,and leading multi-disciplinary teams, with a particular specialism in complex projects.
Conor also has extensive and detailed expertise working as an architect working on buildings situated within sensitive environments and conservation areas. At AMA, Conor is involved with the New Waverely Masterplan proposals and the individual hotel buildings that are currently being developed.

Kenny McNally studied architecture at the University of Edinburgh, graduating in 1993. Since graduation Kenny has worked with a variety of practices in Scotland, including Crerar & Partners and Lee Boyd Partnership.
Since joining the practice in 1997, Kenny has worked as Project Architect on several complex projects, including the masterplan for the Edinburgh BioQuarter, Site A1 at Edinburgh Park and is currently leading the team on the Edinburgh St James masterplan.
Kenny is also responsible for the management and development of the information technology systems within AMA.
